We just recently headed up to Alberta again, this time for some softball and spirit-refreshing fellowship with our dear friends the Jost family, and other Canadian friends north of the border. While we were up there it struck me that though we might not be in the US anymore, we hadn't really crossed any borders: the Kingdom of God doesn't have any. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is unity and freedom. It was so good to visit with some brothers and sisters that had held us in prayer while we carried Isaac for those 12 days. If blood is thicker than water, then Christ's blood is broader than any distance, stronger than any tie. But I digress...
Our softball team won the slow-pitch tournament! It was a long and super fun day. The rest of the weekend we were on the receiving end of such gracious hospitality and had gloriously delicious food, iron-sharpening conversations, and of course, a lot of fun and fellowship. If we had any more fun, I think the earth would explode. So we do try to keep it under control. ;)
Fellowship with the Jost crew.
And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. - Col. 3:17
Hadn't checked out your blog in a while! Will have to check it on a more regular basis. Good stuff! Love these pics. :)
